Nutrition and Animal Feed

Dust filtration solutions for the animal feed and nutrition industry. Bag filters, cartridges, and wet filters

Filtration of dusts and fumes in Nutrition and Animal Industries

The food and animal nutrition industry faces the constant challenge of managing dust generated during processes such as storage, milling, mixing and transport of materials. This dust affects product quality and environmental cleanliness, a risk that should not be underestimated. For this reason, at Sistemas Gaitán you will not only find dust extraction systems that meet the basic requirements (efficient, hygienic and easy to maintain), but also offer additional advantages such as compliance with sanitary regulations, risk reduction and productivity optimization in your operations.

Filtering solutions

Wet Filters

The FCH series wet filters are designed for the filtration of volatile contaminants or contaminants that cannot be separated with a baghouse. The purification process is carried out by means of a water curtain that mixes with the incoming gases at a high velocity, passing them to a liquid phase that allows us to decant them in the lower part of the filter, which incorporates a container where timed discharges are carried out for the extraction of the residues.

Dry Filters

Bag or cartridges filters are essential for capturing dry dust and fine particles generated in storage, milling, mixing and ingredient conveying processes. These systems ensure clean and safe air, protecting both workers and product quality. Their design ensures smooth operation, even in demanding environments where cleanliness and safety are top priorities.
